About
The Wood's Croft is the journal of a small build in the forests of southern Sweden — a workshop and a house, put together slowly and mostly by hand. We started clearing ground in 2020 and have been at it ever since, learning as we go: pouring a foundation, milling our own lumber, burning timber for cladding, and figuring out the hundred smaller things in between.
These are field notes more than anything — what we did, what worked, what didn't, and the occasional photo from a cold morning on site. We write them partly to remember and partly in case they're useful to anyone attempting something similar.
More about us, and the place, will come. For now, thanks for reading.
